    FUCK!

    Dude you've cut your springs!

So you've cut off the flats that seat the springs into the cups........so they'll pop out = No suspension

First corner on your first track day and it'll be pirouette time.

Not the right or safe way to lower any car!

Just because someone did it one two cars, doesn't make it right or safe.

It's not the right way to lower a car, and for a track day car you'll want to to handle.

Cut the spring and it'll handle like a dog.

New springs aren't exactly dear anyway.

basically, im right. those who agree with me are also right.

the rest can go do some fucking research.

cutting coils is fine to an extent.

i dont like the car and as i said, its just a bit of fun (£50 worth). not really bothered with anything else as sally needs a new engine Broken Heart

ive flatted of the bottom and top of the springs to make them seat propperly

its not worth chuking too much money at the car anyway as we are going to use mondeo parts to improve the suspension.

Re: my other project (lil'mo) track-day project.

sorry. i dont like people ripping the piss out of my cars. eveything i have is all paid for and no money is borowed. im a diy man and allways have been

trust me the shell is a good 'un. just the wings will need replacing. that zetec/cvh guide sounds interesting... will be a while before i do anything else as my nissan is much more inportant to me.

is yours still a ca18det or have you moved to sr20det?

a friend of mine had a ca18 running 300bhp... shame he stached the fucker at brands hatch.

about the spoiler, i was a bit harsh, but i love oem kit and think the s13 has some lovely lines.

how much power does she have and what suspension/brakes do you have?

this is the s13 at my work before he crashed it:
