So what slagging off did this car get when it was in FC mag?

Could you guys tell me how to improve it as I am 17 in 2 years and it will then by mine, hopefully (seals need welding on both sides, not to big of a job my dad has nearly finished it but he hasnt had the time) I am going to have the front bumper sorted out or maybe a custom one or a whole custom kit (Heard that Carisma do custom kits, are they any good at them?) Hopefully going to take the back seats out and put a decent install in there, when I get a bit older I will put a red top in the car but as far as that I don't know what else to do? Give me some ideas. I think the colour scheme goes well, would look boring without the decal. So give me some ideas, I have 2 years of planning but those two years are also time to save money years as well lol.

I was thinking about that but it will cost to much (Well saying that I am hopefully going to get about 30k comp because a serious accident I had, so could always use 10k of that to get it looking decent) Also I can't decide on a colour scheme, if I were to have it done all over again and would leave it to Carisma to carry out the work on it because they are top notch, is there any other company in the uk better then them? Pimp My Ride UK doesn't do no good for their look.

What corsa do you think I should start with C or B, personally I think the B looks better.

So give me your ideas, I will take them into account because I want it to be a show winner and good enough to go into mags or even better front page, proper featured car.

i'd go for a C as there newer and gonna be worth putting the effort into, thats if it has to be a corsa mind. as for body shops its all about xquisit for me, seeing some of the cars there churning out, thats where i'd go

well it will have to be a Corsa it's a first car, I think Saxo's are 2 chavvy and their crap and I also don't like the 106's, so it will have to be a Corsa, I will look into mods for Corsa C's, will there be a major difference on insurance costs, I will hopefully be going on to a parents policy what they will set up for me and put me as the named driver so it is cheaper.

Stop right there, this car would cost a fortune to insure! You WILL have to declare every modification, no matter how slight it is, even changing the gearstick knob, adding a graphic etc should be delcared, otherwise, in the event that you ever have an accident thats not your fault, they will get out of not paying you a single penny, on the other hand if you hit someone with insurance thats not valid, you'll be looking at an instant ban, court costs etc..

& its not worth getting it on anyone elses as you as a named driver, as when you come to insure a car yourself, you'll be right back up the £2k per annum price bracket.

As i always say to new drivers, just get your NCB built with an old banger, in 2 years time, well it will probably take you 3/4 years to pass, then coras will be as outdated as a lada riva! Just concentrate on getting that pass first!

Of course by the rate this governments going, no one will be able to afford fuel, and we will be foreced to drive around in a rechargable plastic piece of crap, the future of fastcar....

Ok, I just need to state a couple of points:

Point 1: I am only here to ask for some styling advice and thats all I want, I don't want no arguement about insurance and so fourth.

Point 2: The insurance company can only insure 6 of the 13 mods but the insurance company still know about the other 7 mods, the mods what are included are the most important ones, so if the insurance does come void in the case of an accident it would really be the insurance company fault for not letting us insure the other mods.

Point 3: I will be taking driving lessons when I am 16 as there are a few companies what do this know and the is one in plymouth they are pretty pricey but I am willing to do this to get driving quicker then most 17 year olds. Obviously I wont be able to do my test and theory until I am 17.

Point 4: If I am on someone elses insurance and I don't have a crash whilst I am on that persons policy will I be able to carry that 1 yrs NCB onto my own insurance policy or with it go to the policy holder?

I was thinking about getting a E36 318IS for my first car but the quotes I got were stupidly high. So it will have to be the corsa for the moment, it wont be on the road much longer because it has already needed the seals welded so wont be long until it needs scrapping , so I will most likely only have the car for 2 years then I will get a better car.

Re: Can anyone provide me with pics of the mag or a direct link to the page of the car.

Can anyone also tell me some sites what sell modified Corsa's. I can no longer use our current corsa as the seals are going and they are right beside the side skirt and it will be very difficult to weld, so it is going to be sold and I am going to get another one, I prefer the B's and C's. I know of pistonheads and the obvious Ebay and auto trader but are there any others what sell modified cars, please provide link, cheers.

the obvious Ebay that dont really have nice modified cars on there.

    Auto Trader.

Tunermart but that site has now closed down.
