I just bought a saxo furio anyone got any idea's on any mods to the engine, i've already got a Pipercross viper carbon intake system and a cat back mild steel exhaust system with 4" ashley competition backbox, anyone know of anything else and where i can get it???

Has it got a Turbo? if so chip or re-map it, this would complete the Intake and Exhaust modds.

Bring the temp of the engine bay down.  Can sometimes be done by removing the rear rubber on the engine bay

yeah mate not too bad. got some cosmetic bits ake clear side repeaters and the bulbs, got the alloys on as ya can see in avatar but not done much else. last company went bust so not been paid in 2 months but when i get me payout i'm going for the induction route mebbe an exhaust and so on m8. hows sally? u got an eaton m45 ain't ya??

also as i've not taxed it yet can't use it but wanna put me new stereo in it. was your centre console hollow where the stereo sits coz on the p11 it don't have anything to sit on so it's gonna swing all over the place. any idea m8 ??

to be honest lazlow i don't know too much about it. all i know is my previous car went bang (it was a rover after all) and i fancied a car that was quicker than the 1.6 that i had. saw the primera and figured it wasn't bad. got it for 250 quid it's done less than 100k it's a p plate, 3 previous owners. didn't have alloys but i got them cheap too. i think they're quite reliable coz they're jap and everyone i know says jap motors are normally pretty good (civics and so on)

 

so to be honest i got it coz i'm only 21, it's 2.0 engine, low ish insurance and not the typical boy racer cars so fancied something different.

 i think i've got a sr20 DE engine in mine tho i'm not sure(i can recognise most cars just not got the foggiest about the engine's) and not sure what i can do to mod the engine without nuking the insurance as it's done under me sisters, i'm 21 been driving for 6 months so would cost a bomb but she's got 5 yrs no claims ha ha

 

but i dunno what to do engine wise so think i'll stick with the induction kit/ exhaust and so on. also do these supposed chips work for then bhp increase ?? any idea where i can get one from?
