so to be honest i got it coz i'm only 21, it's 2.0 engine, low ish insurance and not the typical boy racer cars so fancied something different.

mate try quinn-direct for ye insurance. they do some cracking prices on the web. £for me on a 200sx s13 1.8t 0 ncb its 750 smackers not bad. and 1.9td pug 306 with my 4 ncb it £250 with my girlfriend on it as a learner. worth a try!

 i think i've got a sr20 DE engine in mine tho i'm not sure(i can recognise most cars just not got the foggiest about the engine's) and not sure what i can do to mod the engine without nuking the insurance as it's done under me sisters, i'm 21 been driving for 6 months so would cost a bomb but she's got 5 yrs no claims ha ha

 

but i dunno what to do engine wise so think i'll stick with the induction kit/ exhaust and so on. also do these supposed chips work for then bhp increase ?? any idea where i can get one from?

 

 

sorry mate been busy dealing with these fucking curry twats.  you console is hollow so use the cage that the new sereo comes with and dont forget to put the aerial in too... it earths off the aerial. you will need an ISO adaptor and an aerial pin too. i ahve an adapter if you want it? just private message me your address and ill send it too you.

thers a few different engines available on the primera

ga16DS =  1.6 petrol carb. (75bhp)

ga16DI =    1.6 petrol single point injection. (95bhp)

ga16DE =   1.6 petrol multi-point injection. (101 or 118bhp for jap engine)

sr20De=      2.0 petrol multi-point injection with mild cams and lower 6500 redline  (127bhp) (yours)

sr20DE =    2.0 petrol multi point injection with sparay bars and uprated valve springs. also has more aggressive cams and a 7000 rpm redline (150bhp)

wont bother with the diesel cuz there shit.

 

god i love primera's! they really are a sleeper car especially in gt/sri form

cheers mate. i've chucked the sony head unit into it but it's not working. i've got the iso harness and have put the aerial in but it's got no power going to it for some reason. i think i've got the adaptor you mean but thanks anyway mate. i might need to get back to you on that tho mate. thanks pal. should be more like you on here lol.

any idea where i can get the aerial pin mate it's really pissing me off now it's taxed and insured and got a fucking tape player in it lol. also any ideas how to get the dooorcards off and how to get to the speakers in the back coz i ain't got the foggiest. pls help mate coz i'm starting to lose patience with it
