    problem fitting head unit into corsa c

    rite, the other day i decided to put my old jvc ipod head unit into my corsa, brought a fascia plate and iso's, fort rite this is goin to be easy just pull it out and put the other one in, well i did kinda go like that, except as soon as i started to drive, the speedo stopped workin, abs light came on, ecu light came on, n sum other lights came up on the dash, took it to the garage and they siad that its the cd player not the car thats causing the problem, iv seen a few corsa c's with different head units in it, and they must work otherwise they wudnt have them,lol, anyone help me, or had the same problem, cna u help as i fed up with using cd's all the time, and also need the head unit to power the 6x9's, please help me guys n girls cheeers

    maybe the head unit isn't the problem maybe it's the actual stereo mate. i tried fitting a kenwood head unit into me mum's c3 and it did near enough the same thing. might be worth going to halfords getting another stereo and get them to fit it. if they do and something else goes wrong it's down to them but it seems to me to be a issue with the diagnostics mate

    the wiring on the vauxhalls is a pretty fucked up thing. heres just a small yet worrying example that will make ye all go get a clifford. if ye remove the hazard switch and turn it upside down and plug it back in upside down the car will start and drive all day long with a bump start. (mainly the older model cars) hows that for million£££££££££££ engineering for ye. go to halfords or a good ice house and buy the wiring block for that stereo to fit that car. they are about £15ish
