anyone got a good idea on how to take off the glue left after removing the bumpstrips?

i've been using the hot weather as an added bonus to get this done and a disused credit car, i also found that the glue rolls well under the thumb but its still leaveing residue glue that the card isnt removing.. so any tips? :D

There is a product called "goo gone" basically dissolves any adhesive and will not damage your paint.  For pine tar and sap I use nail polish remover and I will bet you its the best stuff for your job. 

Plus you look like a saint with some feminine products around for an emergency.

ARE YOU MENTAL? itll rip the paint off. get as much as ye can of leaving the sticky shit over. and then nail polish remover on a cotton rag. or theres a rubber disk available that goes on a grinder that makes the job a piece of piss within 1/2 an hour

and a hair dryer so yall have to rob ye mums for a bit. itll soften the glue and make it a bit easier when ye rub the nail polish remover on

Actually a bit of petrol would be cheaper than a bottle of nail polish remover and probably do the job the same.  I would get a bucket put a bit of petrol, water and soap in and go at it with a plastic scrubby.  The trick is if your going to reattached anything  to find the right adhesive.  3m products are the best but the best of them can only be found online.

cut the stuff as low down as you can with a sharp knife and dont scratch the paint obviously then i used brake cleaner to get the gluey shite off it works quite well but you gotta douse it in it
