hey can i fit 18inch alloys onto a mg zr?

apparently the answer is yes but isn't it the same as a rover tho with the wheel arches. i think i've seen advice before saying that 18's will cause trouble with the inside of the arches as well as the tyre's become much more expensive. i'd personally say get yourself some nice 17's mate and enjoy

i have 17s now they came stnd on it from new they are close to arch now but only the rear.

im not worried bout cost of tires but if gonna ave troble not worth it.

how bout lowering the car? would i ave any trouble then?

my bro seems to think that a certain mg i think the (zt) comes on 18's so i'd be inclined to say go to the mg dealer pretend to want some standard 18's and ask them. i'd always say ask the fitters and not the people working inside coz they're snotty normally lol. if ya can get them then go for it but if you lower it on 18's it WILL rub the arch so again. up 2 u
