I want a decent coupe for my first car, I've just passed my test and just turned 21. The cheapest I could find in terms of car (about £1000) and insurence (about £900) was a Toyota Paseo which is pretty reliable and at only group 7 insurence, a pretty decent buy.

Any other recommendations?

Was thinking the Hyundai Coupe, but they are quite high groups.

I'm 21 on a Fiat Coupe 20vt. Group 19 I think. Insurance is surprisingly ok at 1100 with Post Office. Was paying 300 off that on a 1.6 Bravo at 19.
 

I quite liked the 100nx, but I think for the car it is, it's expensive to insure:
