Re: alloys on a corsa c

evening boss. like the car. like the colour. big fan of silver but minee have both been blue but anyway.

just been looking on potn.co.uk to check the prices on what you've got shown and are as follows

tsw black ice 15's = 380  so not too good in comparison

    dezent type v' 15's = 292

dezent type v 16's = 454 if you wanted them

dotz daytona 15's are 276 at the minute tho i think it's about 25 - 30 quid delivery

i go on this site quite often and it's the cheapest place i know of other than ebay

i prefer the dezent's or the daytona's but it's gotta be your choice not what everyone else says. also if you do what everyone else says and use that and it looks bad it's a kick in the teeth. if you do as you wanted then you've only got yourself to blame tho i think it will look nice either way.

hope this helps oh and welcome to fc

Re: alloys on a corsa c

myself i think that hatches look better with more spokes but it's only my own opinion. i've got a 2.0 16v primera which is on 15 inch wofrace 5 spokers and i think it looks ok but i think 5 spokes look a bit out of place on hatches maybe coz of the rear brakes i'm not a big fan of drums.

hell there's my opinion and ya welcome for the welcome lol

Re: alloys on a corsa c

fair play m8. glad you made your choice. what engine is it you've got?? does it have drums or discs on the back. what's everyone's opinions on the back of cars ie painted drums ??

Re: alloys on a corsa c

its a lil 1.2 16v design, not slow but not quik, goes alrite for a 1.2, kinda needed it for work n goin surfin, i had a rover 200 1.6 16v b4 and used to drink fuel soo decided to down grade in power lol and iv got drums on the back, not really fussed about discs on the back, cost to much to change and also adds more to the price wen i need new parts, yeh colour brake drums look alrite, just depends on colour

Re: alloys on a corsa c

fair enuff mate. i used to have a rover 216 16v myself till the poxy gearbox went.

i'm not too keen on corsa's but they seem to be the in thing i guess. i'm not major bothered about the discs on the back i just think it finishes the car off a bit. i've only been driving just over 6 months but had the rover. drank too much but it was ok to drive and quite nippy. anyways till it blew up it was alright but once it went that was it so i got the primera 2.0 16v for a bit more fun lol

corsa's look ok when they're done up tho mate i'm sure yours will look cool. are you gonna kit it and stuff or just stay subtle??
