    EBAY IS SHIT!

Gone are the good old days when Ebay used to be a great place to trade your stuff.

They are now really taking the piss & have brought in new rules.

They have decided to reduce the cost of listing items & increase the percentage that they take in a final value fee when they sell.

They now force you to accept Paypal, so you have to Pay their high fees too!

Sellers can no longer leave neutral or negative feedback to buyers, so now if a buyer messes you about or doesn't pay at all, you can only give them good feedback!  Whereas they can stitch sellers up with negs whether they deserve it or not!

Genuine buyers are also affected due to fewer items being vailable because I know other regular Ebayers are deserting the site & like me are seeking alternatives.  The sellers that remain with Ebay are having to raise their prices too.

I know about Gumtree, Friday-Ad & Loot, but does anyone know about any other sites that might be worth a try?

i always thought EBAY was shit so nothing new to me. wouldnt trust it as far as i could throw it.

Mind you i only ever bought for things off it and two of them where phoney sellers so can you really blame me. But well the other two where the way i expected so cant complain at them. Never used ebay since though. :(

    Re: EBAY IS SHIT!

Tried to sell a few things last week on eBay and got an email saying they'd deleted one auction because I'd described it as 'As New'.  The item in question hadn't been fucking used and they won't let you describe it as 'As New' because they say it's spamming!

Fuckers - I'll show 'em spamming.....
