 Thanks dude yeah there are solinoid poppers under the mirrors. To be honest the passenger door keeps blowing. Think it could be lose wiring or something so will need that sorted. Apart from that I have no bother with the driver door or the boot lid

My passenger door is exactly the same and sometimes on he drivers door i have to push my knee on the door near where the lock is to make it pop it's wierd cos no set patteren to it, Im sellin a fibreglass install for a clio if you fancie it, should be able t find some pic's of it in this website

 

Thats a reason y i didnt smooth my handles, cant be bothered with the hassle you can get!!

 

i didnt think id like it at first but its growing on me, the front with the badboy bonnet looks sweet!!!!

Well folks I've decided to keep this for a little longer but got a few things lined up. First things first though, going back to door handles. I don't recommend smoothed doors with poppers at all, more trouble than what they look good.

 Went and got two doors from a car dismantlers, planning to smooth out the rub strips again and the key lock on the doors. Will wire the doors up the same as what they are now so that they unlock with the key fob.

 

Car is going up to get a full respray in two weeks or so and then I'll have it back on the road for Easter. New alloys, mirrors and interior retrim to come next.
